Services & Incentives
One on One Sessions
60 minute sessions in my home. Lessons specifically designed to meet your child’s needs.
Informal/Formal Assesments
I am trained to administer many formal and informal assessments. The aims could be for specific skills in phonics and phonological awareness or to determine whether or not your child is displaying any red flags for things like auditory processing issues or graphomotor struggles. I cannot diagnose, but I can make specific recommendations for accommodations based on findings.
Summer Programs
Summer is a wonderful time to just enjoy our beautiful Nevada County home or to travel. It is also a time for backsliding, especially for kids with learning differences or disabilities. I offer 3 week intensives in reading, math, and writing skills to help mitigate the loss of academic skills during that time. I will also offer you activities to work on at home to keep those skills honed!
Sliding Scale Pricing
My mission is to help as many children as I can. In that spirit, I do offer sliding scale pricing for those who cannot afford to pay my standard fees. This also includes a “Pay it Forward” option for families who can afford to help subsidize others.
School Based
Group Sessions
Provided that the school supports it, I offer to come to your child’s school and work with a small group of children (2 - 4) who are at the same basic level of competency. Requirements would be a quiet, private space to work and consistent schedule
(i.e., Thursdays at 1:00 p.m.).
Lexia Core 5* Incentive
For families opting for 3 or more sessions per week, I offer to pay for a Lexia Core5 license which I will manage for you. Lexia Core5 is a powerful, adaptive phonics/reading program that only takes about 10 minutes per day. See link to website below for more information.
Referrals
Another way to save some money is through referrals. If you refer a new client and they sign up for 3 or more sessions, you will receive one free session. ​
